BurnIT-1.4 announced: 15 Dec 1998
BurnIT-1.4 can now be downloaded from the download section.
BurnIT-1.4 contains over 270k of code, since the whole basic GUI and 7 CD layout are now implemented.
BurnIT-1.4 also includes a "Wizard" which can help you go over the diffenrent steps in making a CD.
This release brings support for Swing-1.1 and JDK-1.2 and alot of other features.

My burner died: 10 Dec 1998
My burner died :( So I would be happy for a donation of a new drive.
Don't worry development will still continue, but I won't be able to test it myself.
Feel free to contact me if you want to donate a drive/money.
BurnIT-1.3 announced: 22 Oct 1998
BurnIT-1.3 can now be downloaded from the download section.
BurnIT-1.3 contains over 200k of code, so that BurnIT-1.4 shouldn't be far off, since
the basic GUI is now implemented.
BurnIT-1.3 brings support for cdparanoia (a feature requested by many users) and
you can choose your own .CDR, .WAV and .MP3 player. The BurnIT Filemanager now also are
able to play sound files with a triple mouse click.

BurnIT-1.1 announced: 07 Sep 1998
The first developer release of BurnIT can now be downloaded from download section.
This version of BurnIT is based on JFC-1.1 and therefore the layout is completely new.
Already the first developer release has more code than the BurnIT-1.0.x series.

BurnIT-1.0 announced: 31 Jul 1998
The first release of BurnIT is now stable and therefore BurnIT-1.0 is
released. The development from BurnIT-0.1 to BurnIT-1.0 took about 6 months.
Development on the BurnIT-1.0.x series will continue with new versions
of mksiofs-1.12 and cdda2wav-0.95 and fix bugs, if there
are any.
Otherwise the developement on the next generation of BurnIT has begun (check the development page).
